COVID Safety

ATOM events are held at different venues in and around Abingdon. Please note that COVID-19 precautions and requirements vary from venue to venue and may change at short notice. Below is a summary of the situation at the beginning of May 2022. You are encouraged to check back to see if these have changed before you attend any event.

Amey Theatre, Abingdon School
As of May 2022: to help keep the audience and others safe, Abingdon School are continuing to ask and strongly encourage that everyone aged 11+ wears a face covering during their time at the theatre, including whilst watching the performance (this may be removed temporarily whilst consuming refreshments).

Unicorn Theatre, Abby Buildings
As of May 2022: you don't need to wear a mask in the Unicorn Theatre unless you are attending a socially distanced performance. The Unicorn do encourage audiences to wear a mask if they would be more comfortable. You are encouraged to take a lateral flow test before you visit if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, however the Theatre will not be asking for proof of a negative result.

The Guildhall
As of May 2022: there are no specific recommendations or requirements in place at the Guildhall Abingdon for COVID-19.

Cornerstone Arts Centre, Didcot
As of May 2022: Cornerstone continues to follow the most up-to-date Government guidance, which recommends the wearing of facemasks in covered crowded spaces. The venue provides hand sanitiser in key areas throughout the building, but have no specific requirements in place for visitors.
