The Harwell Campus Heritage Trail

Thanks to the team at Harwell Campus, ATOM Festival is able to offer a unique opportunity to join the official launch of the Harwell Campus Heritage Trail and enjoy a guided walk around the trail with one of the team who put the trail together.

Sorry but this event is now fully booked. You can use the links in the paragraph below to find out more about walking the trail yourself at any time.

Fascinating glimpses of an innovative past

The guided tour of the trail will start at 11am on Saturday 23rd March. To find out more about the topics covered in the trail take a look at the preview here or download a copy of the trail pdf to take with you here.

The trail is approximately 4km long and involves about 70 minutes of walking or standing. A pushchair or wheelchair can complete the trail although there are some building works which divert walkers onto the roadway (which at the weekend will be very quiet.)

There is a street food vendor called "Dish" with a wide variety of hot foods and drinks and a covered area for eating and this will be open at the time of the guided walk.

Participants will need to make their own way to the campus. There is free parking on the campus at Thompson Car Park. Bus routes are described here .

This is a free event but places are limited to ensure that the walk leader can be heard - please register using the button below.
