ATOM Family Workshops

Sunday 22nd March

What's in an Owl Pellet?

Dissect a real owl pellet and find out what kind of prey your owl was eating.

Be part of a national survey - your pellet results will be recorded and added to the database.

Take away bones and items from the pellet to show at school or at home.

There are three sessions; all taking place on Sunday 22nd March in the Roysse Room at the Abingdon Guildhall.

These sessions are ticketed. A child place on a workshop is £3. Please purchase a ticket for the correct time on our ticketing site - link at the bottom of this page. When a workshop is full the ticket site will prevent any further tickets from being sold for that time.

Session 1 is at 10.30am

Session 2 is at 11.30pm

Session 3 is at 12 noon

The age range for all sessions is 7 - 14. The same ground will be covered in the three workshops so it is not advisable to book a child into more than one of these.

Your child may be placed at a table suitable to their age and ability so family groups may not be kept at one table. Please advise staff in the room if this is a problem.

These sessions are not staffed as a creche facility: a parent/carer must stay in the building. We advise that one parent/carer will be needed per child at the lower end of the age group; up to 3 children per adult at the high end of the age group.
