ATOM Festival Venue:

History of Science Museum, Broad Street, Oxford, OX1 3AZ

Right in the centre of town by the Sheldonian Theatre (the famous building with all the heads in a row outside), you will find the History of Science Museum behind it and to the right as you look from Broad Street.

At the time of writing there is a message on their website saying that the disability lift is temporarily unavailable so please check their website if this is important for you. They also do not offer public toilets but there are many cafes in the streets around the Ashmolean so with forward planning for a pit stop, this problem can be solved.

Parking is incredibly difficult in Oxford and also expensive. Driving in is also problematic especially if you cross from one zone to another so that you incur a congestion charge.

There is a bus direct from Abingdon to the centre of Oxford or you can drive to the Park and Ride and get into town on the bus from one of the P&R car parks.

From Abingdon, your active travel options are to cycle if you are brave; walk the Thames Path if you are fit (but check the National Trails website for footpath closures as it is the season when it can be flooded).
